USi Management Team
Mark started USi in August of 2005 and is responsible for setting overall direction and overseeing performance of the firm’s CCTV, manhole, corrosion, smoke testing, and flow monitoring inspection services. Throughout his 20 years in the sewer inspection business, Mark has served in various technical and managerial capacities, most recently as a project manager for a large pipe rehabilitation company. His broad range of professional experience encompasses major infrastructure projects throughout Hawaii. Notable recent projects completed under his leadership include the City & County’s IDIQ3 contract containing over 650 miles of pipe inspection and Aqua Engineers’ Collection System I&I Program for US Army installations on Oahu.
Matthew SweeneyGeneral Manager
Matt retired from the Army after 20 years of service. He has significant project management experience and is a previous business owner. He joined USi in 2011 and assumed the responsibilities of General Manager in 2013. As General Manager, Matt is responsible for all resource management.
Jeremy GagneOperations Manager
Jeremy started at USI after graduating from Hawaii Pacific University in 2006 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. With his 8 years of experience he has worked in almost all phases of the company and is now the Operations Manager. Jeremy has extensive knowledge in videoing (CCTV), manhole inspections, smoke testing, grease trap inspection, pipeline cleaning, laser profiling, flow monitoring, traffic control and velocity profiling. As the Operations Manager Jeremy is responsible for client relations and project management.
David ThornburghField Supervisor
David started at USI after serving 10 years in the Army. With his 6 years of experience he has worked in almost all phases of the company and is now the day-time Field Supervisor. David has extensive knowledge in videoing (CCTV), manhole inspections, smoke testing, grease trap inspection, pipeline cleaning, laser profiling, flow monitoring, traffic control and velocity profiling.
